We don't have added costs of transport, packaging and advertising when you buy through CSAs, the farmer receives a larger portion of the food dollar.

Artisan Cheeses!


Dutch Girl Cheese
  • artisan cheese maker who makes goat, cow, sheep and mixed milk cheeses.
  • purchases milk from local farmers, sourcing for the best milk available.
  • only makes cheese with milk from animals on pasture.
Most of the cheeses have natural rinds, with the exception of the cumin cheese, a traditional dutch cheese which is cream waxed for protection.


Here is a List of Cheeses available with description - prices begin at $5 for 1/4lb, generally based on market conditions & milk prices.

"T"
10 months to 1 year old summer goat, some wheels taste like a old swiss, others have distinct caramel tones

"goat cumin" 

"winter goat"
vintage 2009, dry cheese with a very peppery end taste, great for grating over pasta etc., 16 wholesale
vintage 2010, young and creamy from last fall's milk, some wheels have a slight pepper at the end but most have not

"mixed milk" - 75/25 goat cow

"young thom" -  a all cow milk cheese

"giselle sheep"
 now 7 months old this cheese is creamy with a definite sharpness at the end
